The Anne Arundel Affordable Housing Coalition provides leadership and advocacy in affordable housing in Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis
The Coalition brings together a wide range of organizations and people interested in creating and preserving affordable housing, providing life-enhancing services to residents, or assisting persons of limited income to find and access affordable housing. Members include nonprofit organizations, developers, builders, advocates, public officials, and a broad range of other professionals engaged in the creation and preservation of affordable housing.

The Coalition is more than 30 years old and is one of a few and among the most active county housing coalitions in the State. The Coalition has been at the forefront in urging Anne Arundel County to develop more proactive housing policies and increase funding for affordable housing. As a result, the County has some high quality affordable housing properties, but more is needed to meet the needs for modest-income households.
